Part of Being Human Festival 2021

We know that choral singing is good for the soul, but is it good for the planet too?

Join community musician and activist Penny Stone for a practical workshop on how we can use community singing and song writing to explore environmental and social justice issues. The session will feature campaigning songs, past and present – some of which are held at the University of Glasgow’s Political Song Collection – and will be informed by ongoing research on music and sustainability.

Open to everyone, no previous singing or song writing experience required. Limited spaces available.
