Feel Field: Sound & Vision Walks at the Climate Portal

Climate Portal
Royal Conservatoire of Scotland
100 Renfrew Street
Glasgow
G2 3DB

Part of the Being Human Festival 2021

Step into the Climate Portal and become part of an immersive art experience exploring the connection between movement, migration and climate justice.

Led by walking artists Paria Moazemi Goodarzi and Francisco Llinas-Casas, this unique venue – a converted shipping container equipped with AV technology – and its urban surroundings become spaces of reflection and intimacy with nature, whilst considering the shipping container as a unit of travel, commerce, and industry. Through a specially devised ‘sound and vision’ walk this ‘bothy in the city’ becomes a shared starting point for travel – both physical and digital – to explore our city’s natural and social environments.

Join Paria, Francisco, and your fellow travellers for:

This work is the result of artist residency in which Paria and Francisco spent time at Bothy Project‘s Inshriach Bothy in the Cairngorms National Park. We wish to acknowledge ‘Walking Publics/Walking Arts: walking, wellbeing and community during COVID-19′ as this project’s starting point, led by the University of Glasgow’s Professor Dee Heddon and supported by the AHRC as part of its COVID-19 Rapid Response fund.
